Harvest: The vegetative state of the vineyard has been very good in terms of health throughout the Rioja. Due to the thermal oscillations and small precipitations during the month of May and June, the quantity of grapes was reduced, obtaining small and loose bunches, less compact, which increased the quality considerably. The evolution of the grape was delayed compared to last year, but the low productions caused an earlier maturation, matching the harvest dates.
DO Cosecha rating: Excellent
Grape varieties used: 95% Viura and 5% Malvasia.

COLOR: Very attractive and bright straw yellow color
SCENTS: Nose with good fruit expression, notes of pineapple and apple with nuances typical of its fermentation in wood such as coconut and vanilla.
IN THE MOUTH: The palate is silky, broad and fruity. It presents a very integrated wood, resulting in a round and creamy wine that maintains its balance with the fruit and the acidity.
VINIFICATION: The grapes from the Viña Olagosa and Salmuera farms located in the San Asensio district in La Rioja Alta, arrive at the winery where they are gently pressed. After a 24-hour cold maceration, the clean must ferments in new French oak barrels. After the alcoholic fermentation is kept in contact with its lees in the barrels for three months.
